Social Programme

The following events will be offered to all non-local participants and accompanying persons on a complimentary basis.

Thursday, 16th of November
19:30 - 23:30 (approx.) Short visit to the Medieval Castle of Lemesos (Limassol) followed by a ‘Cyprus night’ (local cuisine, traditional music and dances) at the nearby Lanitis Old Carob Mill (Dress code: smart casual)

Friday, 17th of November
14:30 - 22:00 (approx.) Afternoon excursion, including dinner, to Lefkosia (Nicosia), the 1000 year capital of the island.
Opportunity also for shopping.

Saturday, 18th of November
09:00 - 17:30 (approx.) Full day excursion, including lunch, to Pafos, the land of Aphrodite. The excursion includes visits to the Sanctuary of Apollo Ylatis, the Greek God of Woodland , protector of the ancient city kingdom of Kourion, Petra tou Romiou - the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the well known Pafos Mosaics depicting scenes from the Greek mythology, and the Agios Neophytos Byzantine Monastery.

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS PROGRAMME
On Thursday the 16th of November, an excursion, including lunch, to the picturesque village of Lefkara well known for its local embroideries, will be offered on a complimentary basis to accompanying persons. A minimum participation of 5 persons is required for the excursion to take place. Departure: 11:00 Return: 15:30 (approx.)
